The Morning Show. Apple TV Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell

 

Apple TV have been concentrating on their out put and lifting the bar to compete with mainstream networks. 

The Morning show was one of their flagship series. With Good morning America as the inspiration the morning show centres around an early morning magazine tv show that is rocked by the me 2 movement when its male host is fired amidst allegations of wrong doing. The series goes on to show the fall out from such an event. 

Jennifer Aniston plays the female co host and of course it’s a great performance as the anchor the show revolves around her reaction to and recovery from her co host being fired. Knowing her position is under threat she takes the initiative to be the master of her destiny and throws a rock into the pond. 

Steve Carell is the deposed host who struggles to cope with being black listed and shunned. It’s a good dramatic performance from Carell and give the series a good spring board to start from. He’s not on for long but they are little pieces of gold that you look forward too. 

Reese Witherspoon plays Bradley Jackson who is propelled from internet meme to TV host in a swift movement. Is a a good performance that’s needs range to be the confident reporter to the intimidated Co host of a major TV show. 

It’s a good show and if you have Apple TV then it’s worth watching.

Sales, shopping and storms

  Last night I listed some of the golf balls on eBay, the Titleist Pro V1’s and the TruFeel’s. Now it’s a crowded market on eBay so I placed them on promotion to be listed top. This morning I had sold both listings not for much but it’s a start.  After a quick visit to Tesco it was down to the local parcel shop to send them off.  It was an afternoon of preparing more golf balls to be listed and then a quick walk up Rowley lane and a big haul of 28 balls. When I inspected them at home three of the more valuable ones had small splits so we’re condemned to the bin.  I’ll keep you posted on more sales, have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ

Afternoon walk

  It was an afternoon walk, I headed up to Rowley path as I feel there might have been a few Christmas golfers. I made it up to the top of the path and back. I found 11 balls today which was good going. The farmer had also been out with the chainsaw making the path safe by cutting some fallen trees. He’d left a can of two stroke petrol/oil mix near the tree so I grabbed it and left it on a fence post near to the farm for them to find in the daylight. It was a nice walk, I’ve finished Phoenix and I’m onto a new book so look out for a bad review.  Have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ
