Afternoon walk and course work

 

After two days at the gym I wanted to get out and get some fresh air and get some miles in. I put my boots on and headed up Rowley path. After storm Amy I wasn’t expecting too many balls but I thought I’d get an opportunity to look at the damage caused. 

I could only spot one tree that had been knocked down by the high winds there were lots of rotten branches that had be bought down, they had been moved off the path by a previous person. I did manage to find 11 balls which was around average and I was able to get through a large chuck of audio book too. 

I came home and set about some course work just finishing off the first unit of module two, it’s only two units so I’m half way through I’m hoping to submit it on Wednesday, it’s not due until the 23rd October so I’ll be way ahead.

Sales, shopping and storms

  Last night I listed some of the golf balls on eBay, the Titleist Pro V1’s and the TruFeel’s. Now it’s a crowded market on eBay so I placed them on promotion to be listed top. This morning I had sold both listings not for much but it’s a start.  After a quick visit to Tesco it was down to the local parcel shop to send them off.  It was an afternoon of preparing more golf balls to be listed and then a quick walk up Rowley lane and a big haul of 28 balls. When I inspected them at home three of the more valuable ones had small splits so we’re condemned to the bin.  I’ll keep you posted on more sales, have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ

Afternoon walk

  It was an afternoon walk, I headed up to Rowley path as I feel there might have been a few Christmas golfers. I made it up to the top of the path and back. I found 11 balls today which was good going. The farmer had also been out with the chainsaw making the path safe by cutting some fallen trees. He’d left a can of two stroke petrol/oil mix near the tree so I grabbed it and left it on a fence post near to the farm for them to find in the daylight. It was a nice walk, I’ve finished Phoenix and I’m onto a new book so look out for a bad review.  Have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ
