Wroclaw day 7, New sofa and a walk around the village !

 

It was a slow start to the day and there is one major project for the day, the arrival of a 3 piece suit for the front room. 

Noticeably the men of the house had left to work on another project so I was left with the task of putting it together. Now if I was at home it would be a really simple task, impact driver and some bits and it would be together in minutes, sadly I’m not at home and I’m overly reliant on someone else’s tool kit. So with just an Allen key and a Aldi electric screwdriver I was left to put it all together. Just put an Allen key bit in the electric screwdriver you all shout, yes this would be true bit all the popular bit sizes weren’t available for the darn thing. 

It wasn’t to much trouble and I’m lucky I had a full size Allen key otherwise I’d be stuck with the mini one that comes with the sofa. It’s all together now and it’s time to unwind for the evening.

Sales, shopping and storms

  Last night I listed some of the golf balls on eBay, the Titleist Pro V1’s and the TruFeel’s. Now it’s a crowded market on eBay so I placed them on promotion to be listed top. This morning I had sold both listings not for much but it’s a start.  After a quick visit to Tesco it was down to the local parcel shop to send them off.  It was an afternoon of preparing more golf balls to be listed and then a quick walk up Rowley lane and a big haul of 28 balls. When I inspected them at home three of the more valuable ones had small splits so we’re condemned to the bin.  I’ll keep you posted on more sales, have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ

Afternoon walk

  It was an afternoon walk, I headed up to Rowley path as I feel there might have been a few Christmas golfers. I made it up to the top of the path and back. I found 11 balls today which was good going. The farmer had also been out with the chainsaw making the path safe by cutting some fallen trees. He’d left a can of two stroke petrol/oil mix near the tree so I grabbed it and left it on a fence post near to the farm for them to find in the daylight. It was a nice walk, I’ve finished Phoenix and I’m onto a new book so look out for a bad review.  Have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ
