Expeditionary Force book 18 Gateway, Craig Alanson

Why do we read or listen to books what is it ?

I’ve thought about this a bit and it’s the friendship and trust we the readers place in our author. They take us by the hand and say look at this world I created, I built this in my mind and I want to share it with you. As much as we trust them they trust us too, because we have access to a little piece of them that day when the hero we all love has a terrible accident was that the author exercising there personality and getting revenge on them ?. The depth and scope of literature is incredible you could be at the bottom of the ocean, trekking across the arctic or in a space battle and still be in the comfort of your favourite chair.

Craig Alanson has a gift for writing Sci-Fi books that blend science, action and depth of character and tie it all together with suspense. That’s why we his Fsa’s s still eagerly await his new books.

Gateway continues the series that started with Expeditionary Force all those years ago, Deus ex Machina is the main plot point it has to be said but it never gets tired. It he characters remain fresh and vibrant and the story’s themselves keep the reader engaged. I’ve listened to 18 of these books and one dramatised novella and I can’t wait for the next one to come out.

If you have Audible use a credit on the first book Expeditionary Force, you’ll be taken on an adventure across the galaxy and back.
