MoBLand, Pierce Brosnan, Tom Hardy, Guy Richie, Hellen Mirren.
Guy Richie is back and delivering another of his crime masterpieces. This time Pierce Brosnan leads as the London gangster with his lieutenant Tom Hardy let’s be honest if you don’t like their top draw acting they are easy on the eyes ladies. Don’t worry guy there’s a top female cast member too, elegant, attractive, seductive with jaw dropping beauty the prime suspect has to be Helen Mirren.
Just incase you’ve lived on the moon Guy Richie is a master at writing and directing crime dramas, from his original lock stock and on to The gentleman a few years ago they keep you engaged from start to finish.
Pierce Brosnan is the Don and Tom Hardy is the fixer who keeps the disorderly on the straight and narrow. When rival families clash over London’s gangland there are tough choices to be made.
Pierce Brosnan hired a dialogue coach to redevelop his natural Irish accent after living in Los Angeles for over 30 years, of course a timeless professional he is outstanding as the mafia Don.
Tom Hardy is the rough gritty streetwise enforcer that every guy wants to be and all the women want to be with. He’s not pretty but his characterful face tells a story all of its own and he inthralls with menace on the screen.
Hellen Mirren is brilliant as the moll to Brosnan’s Don, don’t judge me to harshly when I say she delivers the power behind the man. The woman who’s aware of the business she’s in and is tougher than any man. With beauty and elegance Mirren delivers a classy performance. I’m not sure if I should lust after her or be scared of her prowess.
If you have paramount give it a go.
