Lunch time cycle

Waking up early this morning it was a matter of killing time until it was warm enough to go for a ride. The last time I went out my feet were frozen by the time i got home so I’ve given it a couple more weeks.

It was just after 11 I started getting ready mixing my high 5 drink and getting the gels and the lights together in one place, it was long finger gloves today.

I went out got on and went for it there was a slight wind in the air but it wasn’t that cold heading out of town the traffic was light and even in the shade it was still warm. I headed towards Maidenhead and then turned for Ascot and past the polo fields before heading home. When I got to the 18 mile mark my lack of cycling over the last six months was catching up with me and my legs were like lead weights pulling me down. I managed to navigate back through Windsor infuriating all the traffic on the way. The last two miles from Langley to home were a grind my legs were gone lucky it’s flattish only two bridges to get over.

It was nice to get out and experience some real exercise, I’m hoping the weather improves and I can make this a regular thing.

Have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ
