Spring photos fruit blossom and Blackpark




 

Spring blossom 
It’s spring time and that means fruit trees are going into bloom again and photographers can take pictures of the blossom. 

It’s a walk up to

Blackpark again this afternoon and I’ve got a set of extension tubes to pay with as well. The sun is high in the sky and there’s great light so it was a change into some sweats and out with the camera. The first lot of blossom is on the corner of a busy street so there’s lots of interest as I get closer to take some macro pictures using the tubes.

My legs are bit tired after four days at the gym so it wasn’t the fastest walk but it was nice to be out in the warm even if I was hobbling about. 

Blackpark wasn’t that busy considering the weather was good, I went to check the rhododendron to see if it was in bloom but it’s latter in the spring I think. 

 Blackpark has a new cafe right next to the car park, I didn’t go in but it looks really good from the outside and it’s going to make a fortune I’m sure.

There’s a bakery, butcher, delicatessen and a small off licence too. Be warned yes all the products are really nice but the do have a premium price too ! 𝒲𝒾𝓃𝒹𝓈𝑜𝓇 𝒻𝒶𝓇𝓂 𝓈𝒽𝑜𝓅 𝒾𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓇𝒾𝑜𝓇 But if it’s pay day or treat day it’s worth a look and if you’re already out you can visit Runnymede memorials or the air force’s memorial as they are close by.  Have fun stay safe 👍🏼

Lunchtime walk to Windsor

𝒲𝒾𝓃𝒹𝓈𝑜𝓇 𝒞𝒶𝓈𝓉𝓁𝑒 𝒻𝓇𝑜𝓂 𝒫𝑒𝒶𝓈𝒸𝑜𝒹  𝓈𝓉𝓇𝑒𝑒𝓉 After spending the morning watching Kubrick’s Lolita and then writing about it I needed some fresh air, so with the headphones freshly charged I was up and out. There was no evidence of the Slough Grand Prix today so it must have been a quiet night. The only eyesore is the refuse on the streets, the fortnightly collection means bin bags get piled up and the ripped apart by the ever growing numbers of urban foxes looking for the rotting food inside. As I get out of the town I regret my outfit, I’m wearing a base layer, a wooly jumper and a coat the sun is bright and I’m getting hot. I’ve only bought a camera bag with me so I’ll have to suffer it and take the lesson.
