S.I.A Door supervisor course day three morning

Day three picked up from day two and we continued to talk about licensing and the sale of alcohol.

It was on to queue management, the use of clickers to count how many people had entered a venue. Keeping people safe and communication.

Body worn cameras the benefits of them and the downsides too this was put together with the use of radios after being taught the basics there was a brief exercise around the training venue where groups were given a task to complete it fun to listen to and take part.

That finished the second module.

The third module was conflict management which we started in the morning there are lots of techniques and acronyms for this one that are a bit beyond this blog but essentially it’s about calm approach and creating space and thinking about the situation before making decisions. It was a break for lunch

Have fun stay safe 👍🏼
