S.I.A Door supervisor course day four morning.

 

Day four starts with finishing off module 3 reflection and learning on an incident and the techniques involved in the process. 

On to module 4 physical intervention, there are two types of interventions non restrictive interventions and restrictive interventions. 

There use of physical interventions are a last resort, when used thought should be given to avoid conflict, give space, give a clear exit for yourself and other parties. 

There’s a large section on dealing with conditions and being able to recognise them and the health and safety aspects on using physical interventions. 

Then we were prepared for the questions we would be asked tomorrow in the practical exam before breaking for lunch.
