The undercroft, South Bank London

A short walk from the millennium eye there’s the Queen Elizabeth Hall which hosts musical acts mainly classical jazz and avant-garde.

Since the 70’s it’s become a home of skate boarders, BMX riders and graffiti artists. For safety reason there’s a railing placed around the undercroft and tourists with cameras line it to video and photograph the skateboarders as they perform their tricks. Personally I thing they’re hoping one will fall off and they can get £250 from you’ve been framed or America’s funniest videos.

If you have a free day take a walk down the south bank your self, start at Westminster bridge and go down to Tower bridge. Get an overpriced coffee and look at the book stall, there’s a parade of shops you can look in and a shopping centre near HMS Belfast. You can see the buildings in the City and then across to Canary Wharf. There’s lots to see and experience and you’ll have a great day out and some photos too.
