The Gorge, Apple Tv

Apple have been slowly building their streaming service very gradually, they are not buying any old rubbish to pad out a platform like some of their peers in the Apple way they are taking the time to produce quality films and shows. 

The Gorge is the latest movie to be added to the site. A former U.S marine has been deemed medically unfit for his mercenary lifestyle and is approached for a new job opportunity. He is to look after the weapons systems over looking a Gorge that separates east and west. In the gorge there is a life form that must not escape. He has an opposite number on the other side of the Gorge and a friendship develops. 

Half way through it turns into a zombie ( for want of a better phrase ) movie, the new couple have to survive in a hostile environment.

As films go it’s ok, if you can spot the Star Trek Next Generation set about half way through you’ll groan but otherwise it’s ok. A movie for date night with a partner or couple who like the zombie genre. 

Oh I have some questions though just how many bullets did they have on their personal webbing ? A lot !

I have a six year old car and my battery died how does one in a 70 year old jeep still work ? 

If you have a gorge full of zombies and you have nuclear weapons how do they survive the 50’s when nuclear weapons were the answer ?

Sales, shopping and storms

  Last night I listed some of the golf balls on eBay, the Titleist Pro V1’s and the TruFeel’s. Now it’s a crowded market on eBay so I placed them on promotion to be listed top. This morning I had sold both listings not for much but it’s a start.  After a quick visit to Tesco it was down to the local parcel shop to send them off.  It was an afternoon of preparing more golf balls to be listed and then a quick walk up Rowley lane and a big haul of 28 balls. When I inspected them at home three of the more valuable ones had small splits so we’re condemned to the bin.  I’ll keep you posted on more sales, have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ

Afternoon walk

  It was an afternoon walk, I headed up to Rowley path as I feel there might have been a few Christmas golfers. I made it up to the top of the path and back. I found 11 balls today which was good going. The farmer had also been out with the chainsaw making the path safe by cutting some fallen trees. He’d left a can of two stroke petrol/oil mix near the tree so I grabbed it and left it on a fence post near to the farm for them to find in the daylight. It was a nice walk, I’ve finished Phoenix and I’m onto a new book so look out for a bad review.  Have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ
