Matthew McConaughey brings a collection of story’s from his life together all with his trademark positive attitude. 

From childhood lessons to starting a family with the belief that evrythimg happens for a reason and if something fails a red light it’s because there’s a lesson or something better around the corner the Green Light. Written in a nice laid back style it’s easy to hear the Texan drawl in your mind as you read and you feel like you’re just trading story’s at a Texan barbecue. 

Perfect for a holiday where you want a book that’s easy to pick up when you have some time with out getting bogged down in a complex plot. Covering the transition from romcom heart throb with the washboard abs to Oscar winner in the Dallas Buyers Club and finding time for a young family with an international film career.

Sales, shopping and storms

  Last night I listed some of the golf balls on eBay, the Titleist Pro V1’s and the TruFeel’s. Now it’s a crowded market on eBay so I placed them on promotion to be listed top. This morning I had sold both listings not for much but it’s a start.  After a quick visit to Tesco it was down to the local parcel shop to send them off.  It was an afternoon of preparing more golf balls to be listed and then a quick walk up Rowley lane and a big haul of 28 balls. When I inspected them at home three of the more valuable ones had small splits so we’re condemned to the bin.  I’ll keep you posted on more sales, have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ

Afternoon walk

  It was an afternoon walk, I headed up to Rowley path as I feel there might have been a few Christmas golfers. I made it up to the top of the path and back. I found 11 balls today which was good going. The farmer had also been out with the chainsaw making the path safe by cutting some fallen trees. He’d left a can of two stroke petrol/oil mix near the tree so I grabbed it and left it on a fence post near to the farm for them to find in the daylight. It was a nice walk, I’ve finished Phoenix and I’m onto a new book so look out for a bad review.  Have fun stay safe πŸ‘πŸΌ
