Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin

A short train ride from the centre of Berlin there is the Deutsches Technikmuseum. Built around a former freight yard of the Anhalter Bahnhof train station, when it originally open it concentrated on rail rolling stock but has grown to encompass all forms of transportation and manufacturing.

If you have children who like trains, planes, boats and technology then this museum is a no brainier. With a wide variety of exhibits to explore it’s a good day out. Take a picnic and some drinks as the café can be a little expensive.
