Back to the gym !
It’s back to the gym today after a lazy start to last week it’s trying to get back into the grove this week.
February’s apple challenge is indoor rowing I’ll put a separate post about that next, but in order to make some headway I kicked off with rowing. My fitness has slipped a bit as my heart rate was a fair margin above where it would normally be in the rowing machine but I kept it together and managed to get 30 mins in !
Deadlifts next and not going nuts but adding 20kg to the 20 kg bar and then increasing that by 10kg it was good and I started to feel it kicking in towards the end.
The minute I start training an area it feels the rest of the gym also goes for that area too and the machines fill up, the lat pull down was free and so it was on to that starting at 42.5kg and finished on 57.5kg a little bit up on my normal routine.
Rear delt with the rope not heavy just to get the pinch in starting at 17kg and finish on 23kg nice.
Machine row next starting at 42.5kg and working up to 57.5kg towards the end it was tough.
Good mornings next with the weighted bag I haven’t done these for ages 15kg bag to start then 20kg bag to finish.
Bent over row to finish 15kg and up to 20kg high reps but low weight.
It was a good work out today
