I hope I’m not as old as I feel because I feel ancient after the last two days at the gym it’s aches and pains everywhere, the only consultation is that I must have done a good job. I got in opened the post had a quick bite then set out for a walk, not a long one just up to the park. I packed a couple of lenses into the camera bag a telephoto and a prime.
I got up to the lake and I have to admit the geese are my favourite, the swans are pretty but the geese are so smart and they all have such strong personalities while looking after each other at the same time.

There was some friction on the lake today the geese have split off into couples and one of these couples has an eye on a swan nesting site. As they cruse up to it they’re attacked by a pair of swans and then again just for good measure. It’s all very fast and violent but settles down quickly, hopefully peace will return to the lake soon.

It was nice to get out and enjoy some fresh air and actually take some pictures in the daylight this time. It wasn’t very busy there just some new mothers with their prams an some dog walkers. I’m listening to a new book “A certain idea of France” it’s a biography of Charles De Gaulle. It’s actually really good I’ll put a post up once I’m further in.
