Pelikan Souveran M600 Fountain Pen

Pelikan Souveran M600 Fountain Pen
I’ve owned my Souveran M600 for just over a year now, I didn’t buy it new I got it second Hand from Dylan Stephen Pens online store. It was in great condition and came with the original dealer stamp (Cult Pens) and the original box and paper work too. I filled the pen with Edelstein Mandarin ink Orange ink really appeals to me for some reason.

Pelikan M600 nib

What is it like to write with ? Well Pelikan make a range of fountain pens their Souveran models are top of that range and can cost into the thousands for their Maki-E crafted nib models, the normal Souveran Pens are really well crafted the nibs glide across a page with a fantastic balance from the pen itself. You can use the pens posted but they are better with out the lid balanced on the end cap but it’s better with out. With the mandarin ink by Pelikan’s Edelstein it lifts the writing showing the heavy parts of a writing stroke giving characters life. Designed for long writing sessions.

If you want to change ink, clean or just replace the nib it’s very simple to remove with just a gentle twist and then with some warm water it’s a simple affair. When it’s time to refill it’s a piston mechanism that lifts a lot of ink into the reservoir.
