My favourite photo

‘Waiting’ Paddington Station

I was on my way to the theatre to watt the Lion king at the Lyceum Theatre I’d caught the train from slough and I was in Paddington Staymaming my way to the underground entrance pre Elizabeth line. Something in my head made me turn around and there was this little girl waiting with her father. It’s not the the prettiest photo and it’s slightly wonky if I’m honest but it’s all about the story.

In a busy train station in west London there are hundreds or even thousands of people passing through appointments and schedules all the hustle and bustle. But there amongst it all a young girl and her father (guessing) wait for that person to arrive maybe mum or gran. The jacket is around her arms and there’s a feeling of expectation of longing from both of them. I hope they did meet that person on that day February 17 2017 and that the reunion was all they expected.

Have fun stay safe 👍🏼
