Michelin CrossClimate tyres 🛞

It was just over two years ago I had some Michelin crossclimate tyres fitted to my Kia Rio.

It works out to be about 20000 miles but mostly urban driving which is harder on tyres as there is mor acceleration and braking which increases wear.

Before the crossclimate’s there were summer tyres on the front and the grip wasn’t great and even on a gentle acceleration from traffic lights traction control would kick in. ( I’m a very dull slow driver btw) So when it can time to change I put on some tyres with better harsh weather characteristics and cross climates sprung to mind.

What are the like ? Well with the three peak winter tyres symbol to indicate a winter approved tyre on the side wall the grip is good and I no longer get any wheel spin when pulling away. The noise levels are about the same as a summer tyres even on a concrete section of motorway. The wet weather performance is good and breaking has never caused any issues even from motorway speeds.

Michelin tyre technology is cutting edge all the development from endurance racing trickling down into the road going variant’s of the tyres. If you’re looking for a good all round tyre that’s superb in the cold and wet conditions that Britain’s roads offer put on cross climates by Michelin.

Have fun stay safe 👍🏼
