Leg day
Walking to the car after work the weather is terrible freezing rain and wind from the latest storm to roll in but I was determined to get to the gym.
It was rowing to start and 30 mins and 3575 meters covered it was on to the weight section.
The squat machine was busy so I started with leg press on 65kg I’ve had some hot spots on my knees so didn’t want to push too hard so only went up to 80kg.
It was on to leg curl next, the seated leg curl was bust so I had to use the prone leg curl. I started on 35kg and moved up to 62.5kg it’s different to a seated curl a bit more difficult I guess because you’re curling against gravity.
Leg extensions next and I tried to mirror the curls the weights were slightly different but as close as I could.
Squats next starting heavier than normal at 50kg and moving up to 70kg it wasn’t to bad I need more confidence to go heavier next time.
On to calf’s to finish 50kg to start going up to 70kg. I did smash my knees into the little machine and I didn’t push as hard as I could have.
